SHE'S HERE!!!!!!!!

At 9:06 pm on Tuesday, January 23rd Molly Carol Anderson showed herself to the world for the first time. Her grandmother, slightly out of breath from trying madly to get to the hospital in time, arrived just 20 minutes before her first granddaughter. "I'm so thankful to have made it," she said, smiling. Molly just said, "Waaaah!" as the air of the hospital room felt cold and unwelcoming. After all, this is Sheridan, Wyoming! After a day and a half of resting in the nursery, Molly braved the snow and ice to journey to her home accompanied by her parents.

Before she left the hospital, however, she graciously posed for the following photos:

Christmas in Illinois . . .

Sam and I spent Christmas and New Year's with his family in Illinois (near Chicago). What a wonderful chance to get re-acquainted with his parents and brother/sister-in-law! And. of course, our new nephew Stephen Champlain Jones! (see my blog for some cool photos and studio portraits of the family--link on the right to "Rebekah Jones")

After spending some frustrating moments, I was able to upload our Christmas photos to a Web Album. Click here: http://picasaweb.google.com/bekahj77/ChristmasIllinois to view the photos--I added captions to them to give you an idea of who is who and what is going on. Not hard to tell though; the majority are of little Stephen!

I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and were able to spend the time with your family!

Where we are now . . .

As you can see on the right, Sam and I are currently living in Caldwell, Idaho. We've moved around quite a bit in the last six-and-a-half years since we were married. We spent some time in Wisconsin while Sam finished up his classes at Northland Baptist Bible College. We then moved to Illinois and I worked for different public libraries and Sam worked for Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago and Joliet. While there, I went to the College of DuPage and received my LTA (Library Technical Assistant). About two years ago (11/04) we moved back to Idaho where I again worked for a public library and Sam worked for AmeriCorps, setting up Community programs for the city of Eagle. For the last six months, I've started a new career by working for Holland Realty, the largest independent Real Estate firm in the Treasure Valley. No, I'm not an agent, but I am the Lead Front Desk Associate, managing in part the Front Desk staff working in the several branch offices. Sam is currently looking for a job, scouring the market for computer or teen outreach jobs. Let us know what's going on with you!

Well, here we are!

I had attempted to do this quite some time ago and wasn't patient enough to get it to work. I got reinspired over Christmas by spending some time with my sister-in-law on her blog and realized what a great way to keep in touch with people. I'm not the best at keeping up, but we'll give it a shot for the new year and see what happens!
